Women & Giving
The goal of the Women and Giving program is to educate and inspire women to become leaders in philanthropy. In addition to awarding immediate grants, there is a Women & Giving Endowment Fund at the Foundation. Women may give donations toward immediate granting and/or to the endowment fund which will ensure that future grants could be awarded at any time throughout the year.
Women & Giving’s mission statement is: To help women and children in the community overcome barriers, increase their opportunities and achieve their goals.
The Women and Giving program was started by Ann Sigelman, long-time Foundation supporter and community leader. Since that time, she has continued her support of the program whether through chairing and sponsoring or providing door prizes for the Women & Giving event and also serving on the grant-making committee.
