A Gift That Will Continue to Give

The Watertown Area Community Foundation is deeply grateful to be among the local organizations receiving a significant charitable gift from the Prairie Lakes Health Care Foundation as it concludes its operations after fulfilling its mission.

As part of its final distributions, the Prairie Lakes Health Care Foundation invested approximately $5.1 million throughout our community, including $2.1 million in grants to 16 organizations whose work supports the health and well-being of individuals and families in the Watertown area.

We are honored that the Watertown Area Community Foundation is among those 16 organizations.

This gift represents trust: trust in our Foundation, trust in our local nonprofit community, and trust that resources given today can continue making a difference well into the future.

We are especially grateful to the donors, volunteers, and board members of the Prairie Lakes Health Care Foundation whose generosity and stewardship made this gift possible. Their legacy of caring for the health and well-being of our community will continue through the organizations and programs they have chosen to support.
