Congratulations to the 2025 Women & Giving Scholarship Recipients

December 5, 2025

The Foundation’s Women & Giving Advisory Committee met in early November to review applications for the 2025 Women & Giving Scholarships. These annual awards support non-traditional female students in keeping with the program’s mission to help women overcome barriers, expand opportunities, and achieve their goals.

In total, $29,500 was awarded to eleven women. This year’s recipients – Kristen German, Keana Jackson, and Jonalyn Johnson, all attending Lake Area Technical College, and Kylee Lauseng attending Mount Marty University – were awarded a $3,000 scholarship to assist with their post-secondary education.

Amanda Dickerson, Caitlyn Kogel, Holly Kopman, Halana Quick Bear, Ashley Roberts, and Kasi Jo Schlueter, all attending Lake Area Technical College, and Paige Tesch, attending Mount Marty University, each earned a $2,500 scholarship.

“Our scholarship recipients are women who are working hard to build their futures and their family’s future,” said Kristen Henderson, Communications Director of the Watertown Area Community Foundation. “By helping ease some of the financial pressures they face, we’re proud to support their education and future careers, a benefit that will surely ripple throughout our entire community.”

The Women & Giving Program began in 2004, with the first scholarships awarded in 2006. Over the past two decades, Women & Giving has provided meaningful support to women and children across the Watertown area through grants and scholarships aimed at creating lasting opportunity.
