Procedures

The Watertown Community Foundation invests in the vitality and future of Watertown by awarding grants to support community priorities, respond to human service needs and enhance recreation, education, arts and culture.

Applicants may call, write or email the Foundation to request a copy of its Grant Application Summary. The staff is available to counsel with interested parties regarding the appropriateness of a project for consideration by the Foundation Board.

Final determination on all proposals is made by the Board with consideration for donor’s wishes, community needs, and the proposing organization’s capacity to provide effective service to the people of the area.

Applications are accepted at any time and are considered at the monthly Board meetings.

Fund Holders from other communities have the opportunity to help their hometown as well.
